Copper Surplus Reduced and Pure Bred Utility Gains
Copper refinery surpluses shrank from about 750 million to under 300 million pounds in eighteen months while October production was the largest in over three years. North and South American output appears to total 1.65 billion pounds this year with 725 million exported and 1.2 billion to domestic buyers. Separately, USDA surveys of over 500 farmers show pure bred animals offer about 40 percent greater utility value and 50 percent higher sale prices for offspring, plus easier saleability.
