Mormons to turn schools over for state colleges
The Latter-Day Saints college here will close as a church school next June while five other church junior colleges continue until 1982 or 1933. Joseph F. Merrill announced the plan to turn these schools over to states for operation as public colleges, with Utah, south Idaho, and Gila College at Thatcher among those affected.
