River death of bride ruled accidental in Colorado River
Deputy sheriff Arnold reports Mrs. A L Bocherding drowned in the Colorado River on December 9 in an accident when her husband Bocherding’s car stalled on a ferry incline. The car plunged through a guard rail, both occupants struggled, she sank before shore could be reached. Despite dynamite used to raise the body, no recovery. The couple had married recently and were en route to Avizcisa to visit relatives.

Osdick To Collect Specimens For National Orange Show
P J Osdick, a pioneer mining man of the town that bears his name, Will again collect specimens of ore from the rich San Bernardino fields to display at the Sixteenth National Orange Show. He asked the supervisors for financial aid in collecting and entering the display with a guard kept all day. The Associated Chambers of Commerce of San Bernardino County will help financially, as the exhibit costs several hundred dollars but brings returns to the mining industry and county.

Thomson Crilly Married Sunday In Barstow

Mrs Lynch Buried At Barstow Cemetery
Mrs Silas Lynch died Sunday near Victorville while en route to a San Bernardino hospital. Aged forty one, she had been ill and under Dr Pratt care. She leaves a husband and four children in Barstow. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Barstow undertaking parlors. The Lynch family recently moved to Barstow. Mr Lynch works at Barstow Garage.
