Dobbs Drops Off Road In Cajon Pass Christmas Eve
Carry Dobbs a Chevrolet dispatcher touring toward Los Angeles slid off the grade in the Cajon Pass on Christmas evening while braking to avoid a collision. The car rolled about forty feet before stopping against a tree and turning upside down. Dobbs crawled free, walked to a service station, then rode a train to Los Angeles for Christmas. He suffered a side cut requiring stitches and two badly bruised ankles, but returned to work Monday. Insurance covered the wreck.
