Miss Cook continues her report of the World's 10th Sunday School Convention at 8 00 PM on Sunday starting with a Praise Service. Mrs A A True and Mrs Otto Christensen drove to Los Angeles for a vacation. Mr and Mrs Claude Green were in San Bernardino on business. Mrs Marie Anderson of Los Angeles visits the Green home this week. Mrs George Wagoner hosted a guest this week with Mrs Louise Brown and her son of Los Angeles.

Helen Jones visited Victorville on Thursday while Tom Sullivan left on a vacation trip to the northern part of the state on Wednesday. Charles and Robert Iveson of San Bernardino arrived to spend a few days with their sister Mrs Harry Dobbs. Mr and Mrs Harry Dobbs drove to Big Bear on Sunday. Miss Nellie Cooper returned on Monday to Santa Monica with Miss Mary Bushnell who has been her house guest here for several weeks.

Bailey Reports Rich Ore For Goldstone Claims
In town from his Goldstone gold claims, E Bailey presented rich ore samples from a newly found vein. George Drumm’s property is active with assessment work, as are other Goldstone sites. Henry Meade and Treadway of Surf California visited Barstow en route to Calico to review mining prospects and search for a day. Mrs Ira Taylor of Paramount Furniture Co has been seriously ill and was moved to Los Angeles. Mr Taylor notes her improving. Tiernan Radio and Electric Store offers 8 inch electric fans for 6.50 dollars.
