Deputy county clerk Lubin J Henderson announces a new set of registration books. Registration closes August 3 for September primaries. Voters who have not registered since January 1 1912 must register now to be eligible. Those changing party affiliations may do so now to vote in the primaries.
The notice promotes Judge B. F. Bledsoe as a progressive Democrat with a strong judicial record who will attract heavy votes across the county. It argues road overseers should be elected like school directors, criticizing supervisors who often act as political cogs rather than focusing on road work.

Bedford Bedell of Barstow California denies rumors that his supervisor bid is controlled by outside parties. He declares he is independent and will serve impartially without favor if elected. He appeals to friends and voters of the First Supervisorial District for support.
Abraham L. Overholt of Victorville California filed notice of intention to make Final Commutation Proof for the SW14 of Section 10 Township 5 North Range 5 West San Bernardino Meridian. The Harmony Club organized in Daggett with a home in the Brown store building. Elwood Flint celebrated his tenth birthday Monday afternoon July 29 at home with many young friends enjoying refreshments and games.
