Daytonia Beach Fla Frank Lockhart dare devil racer dies while attempting to set a new world speed record. His Blackhawk racer failed at 200 mph, broke from course, somersaulted twice, and Lockhart was thrown free. He died from a fractured skull and chest injuries.
