Paris reports state members of the League of Nations executive council will rise from two to three. The new member is likely a labor representative. Foreign ministers and secretaries of Great Britain the United States France and Italy will work simultaneously with premiers and President Wilson on peace settlement questions.

A 1 cent tax on each 10 cents, plus 5 percent of excess over box office price, with 0 to 60 cents excess taxed. Brokers face 50 percent on excess in many leases. Purchasers pay the standard 1 cent per 10 cents. Taxes extend to cabarets and transport, with rates on freight, express, passenger fares, and more.
Washington March 28 Attor ney General Talmer announced that about 4000 enemy aliens were interned during the war. Paroles would be granted to some 600 harmless aliens others would be repatriated and 900 dangerous persons held indefinitely including about 200 provisional members of the I W W artistic organizations whose cases would be referred to the labor department for deportation
Pittsburg March 28 Representatives of 08 percent of the nut bolt and rivet manufacturers in the United States and Canada agreed on a price cut of 20 to 40 percent for their products at a meeting. Charles J Brahman of Pittsburgh presided and said the action follows state industry concerns. The price schedule will be submitted to the federal commerce department for ratification, with no wage reductions planned for plant workers.

Monday afternoon will see Hal Vitt and Davis versus R G Robinson, a suit over a piano sale. Plaintiffs say Robinson was notified of a set on the 10th, Robinson denies any police. Thomas Carver aged 52 died yesterday at his home in West Berlin from pneumonia aggravated by age. Born in Ireland, he lived in the United States since age 10. Survived by three sons John W Thomas W and Francis Campbell of West Berlin and Northfield a sister Mrs Catherine Tension of Darre a half-sister Miss Ellen Linnehan of Montpelier and a brother Patrick of Lynn Mass. Funeral likely Sunday.
