President Wilson addressed a distinguished gathering in Guildhall on the need for concerted powers to secure world peace. At the conclusion, the audience rose in a unified ovation, cheering as the president exited the building.
President Wilson spoke at London Guildhall urging a concert of power to secure world peace rather than balance of power. He praised Britain’s leaders and noted the need for agreement of mind among nations to prevent a return to old order and wars. The address followed a celebratory reception with Lord Mayor and officials as American and British flags adorned the hall.
General Toreom, Armenian military mission head, arrived in London and visited the American embassy seeking a audience with President Wilton to prevent and explain Armenia's claims and aims. A conference appointment likely will follow after further talks.
