Chief Surgeon Dr. G Pope Huguley returns to Louisville after completing studies at Louisville Medical College. He will gain eight months of practical hospital experience and serve as first assistant to the chief surgeon. His Barnesville vacation work earned him praise and suggests a promising medical career ahead. Dr. Miles Nerve Plasters for Rheumatism.
A Barns bville resident writes to Mr Cleveland praising the Georgia town as the ideal home for the former president and wife. The letter extols mills water works and electric lights, urges buying land and houses, and invites the Cleveland family to visit or relocate. It requests telegraphic confirmation and even suggests selling bonds to finance development.
Miss Corinne Searson returns Sunday from Macon where she visited the family of Dr. K. P. Moore. She leaves this week for her home in South Carolina after making many friends in Barnesville and other places she visited.

The B Y P U held a Sunday afternoon meeting focusing on Japan. Miss Jean Mitchell read an interesting paper and Dr. J M Brittain delivered a splendid talk.
Mr A M Lambdin left to become president of the Lakeland school in Florida. Lakeland, a town of about two thousand, has a 200 pupil school and several teachers. Bonds were issued for a brick building and trustees aim to build a Gordon Institute style school. Barnesville is noted for the institution.
