Mrs Crowder Dies At Home After Illness

Mrs E T Crowder, age 43, died Sunday night at her husband’s home near town after a long illness begun last March. Funeral was held Monday at 3 p.m. at the family residence conducted by Rev H J Ellis, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. The bereaved husband and children receive community sympathy.

Holt Family Sets Cotton Picking Pace in Red Bone District

In Monroe county Red Bone district the Holt family led the season with high totals. J M Holt carried water and picked 187 pounds in a day while his wife gathered 240 pounds. Daughters 18 16 and 14 years old picked 228 228 and 200 pounds respectively. Their 20 year old son harvested 310 pounds. They can pick a bale a day easily. The family is expected to do well with such workers.

Clark-Jackson Wedding Invitations Issued in Baconton Ga

Invitations have been issued for the marriage of Dr. Bryan J. Clark and Miss Lilla Jackson at the Methodist church in Baconton Georgia on Wednesday October 9 at 4 30 p m.
