Gordon Institute Opens With Notable Faculty Strength

Gordon Institute reports strong term start under new organization. Faculty led by President Pound and Prof. Monk oversee Literature History and Arts while Lieut. Palmer handles Mathematics and Tactics and Miss Milner directs the Intermediate Department. Mrs. Rogers leads Primary work with Miss Turner and Miss McCullough supervises the Free School.

Middlebrooks Family Visits Barnesville Community

Mr and Mrs W E Middlebrooks and children of Byron spent several days visiting relatives in Barnesville. They praised the farming area and noted farmers are in good condition. The visit was described as pleasant by the former residents.

Postponed Indefinitely of Ladies Aid Anniversary

The 25th anniversary celebration of the Ladies Aid Society at the Methodist church, announced previously for this week, has been postponed indefinitely due to the absence of several members who wished to attend.
