Mrs Annie Cochrane Suffers Knee Injury in Fall

Friends in Barnesville report Mrs Annie Cochrane sustained a fractured knee cap and serious wound after a fall. She teaches music at the Georgia Female Seminary and has introduced a special course of musical pedagogies. Her friends express sympathy and pride in her expanding reputation.

Barnesville Chautauqua Directors Plan July Program

The Barnesville Chautauqua Association directors met last Thursday to map the July Chautauqua running from Sunday July 2 to Saturday July 8. They vow to present the South’s most attractive program and will hold regular meetings on the second and fourth Thursday afternoons each month. The public can expect great things from the next Chautauqua.
