Barnesville vineyard owners enjoy good demand and fair prices for high quality grapes. The spring freeze shortened the crop this year, limiting shipments to express rather than full carloads, raising transport costs. Owners include Murphey and Hunt, Rose and Elder, Parker and Elder, LT. W. Cochran, J. J. Rogers, J. M. Akin, J. W. Woodall, W. H. Chapman and B. H. Perdue.

Barnesville Defeats Forsyth In Three Baseball Games

Barnesville and Forsyth played the final of three Institute campus baseball games last Thursday. Barnesville won all three contests, with scores 36 to 14, 19 to 18, and 14 to 8. Forsyth showed clever play but could not overcome Barnesville.

A union meeting of the 23 District Towaliga Association of Primitive Baptists was held in Gogginville over Friday Saturday and Sunday. The gathering was well attended with leading ministers aiding in its success and locals in Parnesville traveling to the event. The hospitality of Gogginville residents was praised.
