The Third Georgia Regiment veterans from Barnesville return home after several months in Cuba. Notables include Asbury Lambdin first sergeant Luther Bush Earnest Bush and Otis Langford from Company B who shared an engaging army service experience and are glad to be back.
The people of Barnesville thank Hon. Clark Howell editor of the Atlanta Constitution for securing Hon. W. J. Bryan to speak on National Day July 4. Howell has worked to persuade Bryan to accept the invitation extended by the Chautauqua directors and Barnesville expresses deep appreciation.
