Memorial Day Observance in Barnesville With Closures

Memorial Day will be observed in Barnesville with a 2:30 p.m. program at Gordon Institute auditorium. Prof. J. Harris Chappell will give an address. Colonel Frank M. Stafford will be marshal and Dr. J. M. Brittain chaplain. Stores close April 26th and reopen April 27th. local merchants declare no sales or orders on Memorial Day.

Baptist Church Votes for Thursday Revival Meetings

Last Sunday a short conference settled two questions about daily meetings. The church unanimously approved starting a series of revival meetings on Thursday evening April 20 at 7 45. Members and others were urged to cooperate and attend, with an invitation extended to Barnesville and vicinity.
