Reopened Center Stresses Whole Child Approach at Barnard
Barnard Center for the Study of Early Childhood Development resumes the spring term under Prof Frances Schachter after a yearlong closure with founder Prof Barbara Mates. Eleven toddlers aged 18 to 30 months attend two mornings weekly, with a goal to supplement textbooks, provide preschool experience, and deepen early development understanding.
