A wag noted the cage seemed too realistic due to a wood cage and lack of iron clang, but the issue has been fixed.
Fritzi Scheff and Frank Keenan are set for a second Broadway debut with Chamberlain Brown artists as Sherlock Holmes at the Cosmopolitan Theatre, revival to open February 20. Scheff, a veteran of opera and vaudeville, recently in film and clubs, rose from Munich's Royal Opera House to Covent Garden and the Metropolitan Opera. Keenan rose from the Boston Museum Company to stock tours with notable runs in The Chris Han and The Warrens of Virginia, and acted in Julius Caesar at Daly's Theatre in 1914.
Extra-Mural Committee announces a Social Science Forum to promote interest in social questions and discuss social political and industrial problems. A general meeting for all interested in forming such a group will be held Thursday February 23 at 4 o clock in the Conference Room.
Professor Roswell Tohees, noted author and president of the American Eugenic Society, will discuss Changing Russia at the University. He has studied Russia in 1913 and 1927, including a term with the American Student Delegation, and will speak Monday at four in the Conference Room.
The Kaufman Ferber comedy The Royal Family delights New York audiences with a satirical portrait of theater folk. Otto Kruger Ann Andrews and Silvia Field star alongside Haidy Wright whose commanding performance anchors the show.
