Barnard Bulletin, issued semi weekly during the college year by the Undergraduate Association, notes second class matter status dated October 19 1928, at New York Post Office. Subscription rate is 3.50 per year or 10 cents per issue.
Barnard faces a 1948 49 dormitory deficit of 26000 dollars due to repairs and heating. Two options emerge: raise next year's resident fees by 50 dollars or implement a student cooperative to cut maid service costs. Supporters praise group participation while critics worry some will shirk duties.
In the first final of history, two freshmen cooperated on answers. After comparing grades at Barnard Hall morgue, students confront the breach of the Honor Code. The Honor Board will ask tomorrow's Assembly if the system should continue and if all violators must be reported.

Recent programs include Democratic Republican and Progressive views, Warren Moscow analysis, and William Pepperell Montague on Morality and Authority. Commuter needs and venue changes are debated for better attendance.
Barnard College faces a potential end to its twenty year old Honor System as students attend an assembly about the process. The nine member Honor Board aims to correct rather than punish and upholds the principle that the accused is not guilty until proven so, with confidential names and extra help for the accused.
