Barnard Bulletin issued semi weekly by Barnard College students for the Undergraduate Association. Entered as second class matter October 19 1928 at New York NY under the 1879 act. Volume XL number 45 dated Tuesday April 28 1936 lists circulation manager Helen Daniels 37 and Breitbart 39 as staff.
Editorial denounces final examinations as outdated and unfair while praising last week’s Peace Strike as a successful antiwar action. It urges Barnard College students to join peace groups, continue peace work, and consider organizing summer field projects to prevent future wars.
Ten years ago today the Freshman class won the Greek Games for the first time since 1914, a surprise to much of the college. The editorial attacked the competitive mood, urged toned down songs, and criticized the exclusion of Columbia students from the Games.
