Thursday last Dean Gildersleeve urged Barnard College students to keep sane after two world shaking events. We should focus on our strengths, do hospital work if possible, but also engage in wireless duties farming scrubbing floors and bus driving. The emphasis is on doing small practical tasks and maintaining civility, even if they involve eating things we dislike.
At the 1917 class meeting held April 4 nominations were made for the Constance Von Wahl prize. Senior Banquet waitresses and Class Day ushers were nominated. An appropriation of fifty dollars was voted to the Belgian Relief Fund.
