Barnard College Students publish a weekly bulletin during the academic year excluding the final two weeks of January. The notice identifies the publication as a student-run college bulletin.

The March 22 Bulletin outlines a 1917 18 staff election plan approved by the Student Council. Nominations run April 16 to 21 through slips in the Bulletin office box, open to any Undergraduate Association member willing to be nominated. The Election Committee includes the Undergraduate President and class presidents plus Miss Minor W. Latham of the English Department.
The Editor-in-Chief and Assistant Editor along with the retiring staff will elect twelve new Bulletin staff members. The new team will also choose the next Editor-in-Chief and Assistant Editor from among its members. Undergraduate Association members are urged to participate thoughtfully.
Nominations for the rest of the Undergraduate officers for 1917 18 will be made at the next Undergraduate meeting on Wednesday April 18. Elections will occur the following day from 9 to 4 in the Reception Room. The Executive Chairman role is pivotal next year with the new building and must be chosen with care. The treasurer role is crucial to sustain theAssociation’s efficient financial system and ongoing work.
The Co-operative Dormitory Tea on Friday March 30 welcomed 1918 to the dormitory apartments. 1918 expressed pleasure at the introduction and enjoyed a pleasant social gathering.
Students cut short by enlistment may receive special examinations and credit for a full year's work. A student campaign funds a swimming pool. The English Club's spring production is Percy MacKaye's opera The Canterbury Pilgrims.
The schedule lists events from April 14 to April 19 1917 including Greek Games at Columbia Gymnasium chapel theatre Newman Club class president elections undergrad study tea YWCA SS L joint meeting with Mary Antin speaker and faculty tea. Election of officers and undergrad elections are noted.
The faculty approved a student petition signed by nearly three hundred to start classes earlier to allow more time for ROTC drill. All battalion members are excused from Wednesday classes to devote a full day weekly to drilling. Final examinations will be given immediately to men seeking Army commissions.
