Assemblyman George Carpenter of Baraboo introduced a temperance bill in Madison, seeking a wartime liquor ban with strict penalties. At the parish house of Trinity Episcopal church a farewell was held for Rev. C. A. Wilson who leaves at month end for Oconomowoc. Superintendent A. C. Kingsford and H. Grotophorst spoke as Rev.
