Woodland Home Burns Near Walton in High Wind
George Goods house southeast of Walton burned to the ground around noon Thursday. High winds hampered saving items, but the piano, bookcase, rug, chairs and dishes were saved. All clothing, beds and goods burned along with one barn. fire started from the kitchen stove and there is some insurance. Family will rent part of Mrs Mur dock's house for now.

Strange accident on railroad injures Carr Valley girl
Miss Gertrude Donahue of Carr Valley was hurt Sunday evening when a passenger speeder on the Cazenovia Southern Railroad collided with a hand car operated by several boys. The driver sustained a broken hand. Donahue suffered painful back and neck injuries with no broken bones. The boys fled unharmed.
