Tax sale redemption on park land questioned

The state sought land value increases while owners faced tax titles. A payment of 1919 bids plus interest and costs totaling 1,656.73 redeemed the land for the time being. The 1920 and 1921 bids must now be paid before full redemption, though the land’s true value is limited and much of it remains timber and rock.
