A Velte automobile owned by O. T. Warren of Portage was slightly damaged by a Madison Street Railway Co car in the 100 block of King Street Madison on Wednesday afternoon. The left fender suffered damage.

In a partition suit heard in Sauk County Circuit Court, heir Thomas Fitzpatrick, missing 18 years, reappeared to claim his portion of a Wonewoc area property that had been sold and divided among five heirs. Each heir received about $1109.
One team of horses hauling ice ran away around noon in the 400 block of Sixth Street. The wagon veered onto a lawn and crashed into an oak, stopping after breaking the tongue. Ice company owners and workers returned the animals and secured the load.
Arthur Huebbing of Reedsburg spent yesterday here with friends.
A. C. Fick v Phillip Grubb ends with Fick losing and paying $99.63 court costs. The flowing well on Grubb’s property allegedly flooded Fick’s marshy land, but Judge EB Crosby ruled no fault by the defendant and no cause for action after reviewing evidence and briefs.
Judge R D Marshall left Lawrence College at Appleton a bequest described as about 125000 dollars, following a long private agreement with Dr Samuel Plantz. The will sets the amount as the inside limit and honors a promise not to solicit funds for the college.
The Elver House in Madison, a 45 year landmark at East Wilson and South Blair, was sold Saturday to Capital Bising, a new corporation, for nearly 70 000. The three story brick building will undergo extensive remodeling after Louis Haak took over management years ago.
Mrs. F P Daly wife of Dr F P Daly of Reedsburg died this morning at nine o clock following an operation. She is survived by sons Francis Patrick Zeeta and Mary Agnes and daughter Jane. M E Joyce of this city is a nephew. Daly was well known in Baraboo.
Fred Kuberra of Wraville spent Sunday with his wife and son visiting Mrs. Kuberra's sister, Mrs. William Kunzelman, and her family.

Claire Hawkins travels to Altoona to visit sister Mrs. C J Hayden and will also go to Knapp to stay with brother Harold Hawkins and family. He expects a two week absence.
