Robert Reul, four, son of Julius and Mrs Reul, was hit by H W Hawkins while crossing near Briggs Cole store and Dodge shop. The boy was knocked beneath the car but escaped serious injury with a scalp wound and no lasting effects. Hawkins stopped and aided him while Reul carried him to a physician.

About 150 Baraboo Masons joined the dedication of a new three story temple in Richland Center. A two o clock parade drew thousands from up to a hundred miles away. The $75,009 brick and stone building houses bowling alleys dining rooms ballroom and lodge spaces with bands concerts and dancing throughout the day.

The Herfort Canning Company reports an unusually good pea crop year with daily output around 90 000 cans for a week. Richard J Koch, 64, longtime Baraboo station agent for the Chicago and Northwestern, died at home on Fifth Street after months of illness. Born in Baldenburg Germany, he came to Baraboo with his family in 1871 and served the railroad for over 42 years before retiring in 1922 with a pension. He is survived by sister Margarethe and brothers A C Koch of Chicago and Otto P Koch of Portsmouth Virginia.

Masons Leave for Dedication in Richland Center
About 25 to 30 Mason cars started this morning from Baraboo led by the Masonic band to attend the dedication celebration in Richland Center. Balloons banners and costumes added to the welcome as lodges from up to a hundred miles away sent delegations. The temple opening day featured multiple band performances with nearly two hundred musicians. Visitors were received all day at the new temple.
