Dells Boat to Be Launched with Winnebago Christening
The Dells Boat company finishes a 500 passenger steel vessel at a cost of $25,000. The Winnebago will replace the sunken Apollo, built in fifty days under Capt. G T Parsons. Kilbourn resident G K Crandall says his daughter Phyllis will christen the boat with assistance from Russia Deborah and the Indians. Notables are expected at the ceremony.

Two competent operators will run the boat in day service once piers are built, with a schedule to start shortly. North shore trains will meet all day services, and a Messenger side stop will be included. Park Superintendent Atwood Smith is overseeing pier construction and will announce the timetable soon.

Baraboo baseball team defeated Portage 8 to 1 at the local fairgrounds on Thursday. Baraboo scored six runs in the seventh inning as Earl Haugh starred at bat. Portage pitcher Rueck exited in the seventh after Baraboo bats. Elliott pitched for Baraboo.
