Harvey W. Church formerly of Adams Wisconsin was found guilty of the two murders of auto salesmen Carl Austus and BerVant Daugherty in Chicago. Running-Dog Disaster on Sandusky Farm
Alfred Anderson of Sandusky went to his farm with his dog to plant dynamite under stumps. The dog, trained to dig up buried sticks, dug up the dynamite as Anderson lit the fuse. He fled with the dog pursuing and the fuse burning when it exploded, the dog vanishing in the blast.
