The Baraboo parade features Veronica Terry driving a Fordson tractor in a 40-tractor procession led by Ford products worth about $3,000,000. Henry Ford may attend with a large crowd expected and the event set for early evening with Miss Terry crowned queen of the day.
Baraboo edges Hillsboro 7 to 6 in a tight Sunday afternoon basketball game at Lake Shceaha. Baraboo led 7 to 0 after the first period, while Hillsboro fought back with a late charge but fell short.

A new pastor and family arrived at St. John’s Church Baraboo on Wednesday. The Pieper family, including Mrs Pieper’s mother Mrs Henry Werneck, moved in yesterday afternoon to the Lutheran parsonage at 489 Fourth Street. The pastor’s father and son will be involved in church duties, with sermons expected to be preached soon.
