Funeral Friday For Mrs McRae
Isabel McRae 76 died at home after weeks of illness. Born October 30 1847 in the West Indies she married D W McRae in 1866 and moved to Montana in 1915 settling at Baker. Survived by four of ten children and one grandchild. Funeral at Catholic church 10 AM with Fr La Fleur officiating.

Rhame Man Clarence Hansen Dies in Miles City
Clarence Gilbert Hansen of Rhame died at Miles City Tuesday night after a short illness. He was 38, born May 26, 1887 in Winnebago County Wisconsin. Survived by his mother wife and two small children. Body returned to Rhame for funeral services Sunday afternoon.

Moon liquor raid nets two gallons seized
Sid Clark was arrested early last Friday on a charge of illegal possession of moonshine. He pleaded not guilty at arraignment Tuesday and bail was set at $1000. a jug containing about two gallons was seized by officers.

Fallon Post Votes To Support City Park Plan
Fallon Post 35 of the American Legion supports creating a mani pal park west of the bridge after appointing a committee to draft a resolution for the city council. Mrs Mary Evers R Marion County Resident Dies at 66
Mrs Mary M Evers aged 66 died at her home sixteen miles east of Fallon county after a several weeks illness. Funeral services were held at the home Thursday with Rev A W Seebart Baker officiating and interment followed in Duffield cemetery. She was born in Sweden March 1 1858 and came to America many years ago. She was the widow of Andrew Evers and is survived by four sons Walter Harry Bert and Frank and one daughter Mrs P A Correll of Beach North Dakota all present at her passing.

Purebred Sow Sale in Baker Draws Wide Interest
The Baker auction drew buyers from across eastern Montana as B. 3B. Gross sold 33 head of registered bred sows and gifts. Joseph Phalen of Elgin bought seven head at an average of 31.50 with a top individual price of 45.00, while W. R. Ettles of Plevna purchased nine. Road conditions limited attendance, but the event marked the first sale of registered Duroc Jersey bred sows in the region and was considered highly successful despite feed shortages.
