Legal notice states on the first Tuesday in March 1909 the sheriff will sell at the county courthouse Donalsonville Decatur County Georgia five acre parcel belonging to R D Carr to satisfy a debt to Citizens Bank of Iron City Georgia. The property is described as bounded on Block H and D with reference to the C L Ry right of way and is tied to a mortgage deed recorded in Deed Book 33 page 564. Parties include RK D Carr and W J Harris as security and S E Five ash as endorser. Sheriff J H Emanuel signs the notice February 2 1909.

Sheriff Seizes Property in Bainbridge Court Actions

At Bainbridge, February 2 1908 and February 2 1909 Sheriff J H Emanuel levied on multiple items to satisfy City Court actions. A Reo automobile and a gray horse and buggy were seized for TD Wilce vs T Clark and Scott Sirmons in separate cases. Also the south half of lot 36 in the 21st District was taken in the case of J S Thomas Administrator vs RF Cloud.
