Miss Scott and Gene Parker Wed in Texas Nuptials
Miss Barbara Enola Scott and Gene Owen Parker married April 21 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Carlyle Marney officiating. The bride, daughter of Mrs. W. S. Brewington and H. P. Scott, wore white taffeta with lace details and carried an orchid on a satin Bible. The groom’s attendants included Lawrence M. Parker Jr and Pierre Scott of Buda. A reception followed at the church parlor and the couple planned a home in Fort Worth after a brief trip to Burneyville Oklahoma. Out of town guests came from Edna Victoria and Buda.
