Double shooting at Austin State Hospital leaves two dead
Two people died and a third was critically injured in a killing by own action at the Austin State Hospital grounds. Victims are James Arthur McKenzie, 54, and Gladys Johnson, 38, with Emma Lenora McKenzie, 51, badly wounded. Inquest returns death as due to personal safety related wounds. The incident occurred about 12:55 p.m. in front of a dormitory. no eyewitnesses to the shooting.
