Chase Ends With Two Teens Apprehended Near Brownwood
State Highway Patrolmen Aubrey Crockett and W. D. Lawler Jr. of Brownwood chased two youths from Austin into Oklahoma then back toward Brownwood. Their patrol car skidded into a ditch but the officers were unhurt and helped arrest the 16 and 17 year olds. No charges filed locally and the youths likely will be returned to Austin.
