Poet Louis Untermeyer Confesses Legal Marital Confusion

New York report says poet Louis Untermeyer is legally confused over which of his four marriages remains valid. In state Supreme Court Justice Benedict D Dineen heard Esther Untermeyer challenge a 1948 Mexican divorce and his ongoing marriage to Byrna Ivens. Untermeyer admitted uncertainty and stated he believes he is married to Byrna Ivens.

Taylor High Graduates Travel to New Orleans

Forty five members of the Taylor High 1950 graduating class are in New Orleans on the annual trip. They left Monday morning after commencement in two school buses and will stop in Baton Rouge later this week before returning to Taylor, arriving Saturday afternoon.
