Red Rock farmer blends farming with VA aid struggles
Clarence Grohman, Red Rock Bastrop County veteran and cattle raiser, reflects on missing $120 from the VA while studying. He farms 100 acres, leases another 100, and co-owns a 330-acre lease with Anton Goertz. He raises sheep, sells wool to Will Crow, and shifted to beef stock using a Shorthorn bull after docking Brahman prices. Grohman’s family and background are noted as part of his farming story.
