Fire drives patients to safety at Overton Memorial Hospital
A blaze at Overton Memorial Hospital in Overton Tuesday forced 12 patients to be moved to safety. High winds challenged firefighters for an hour before the fire was halted. The one story brick building suffered heavy damage including a ruined roof and charred interiors though no injuries occurred. The fire was believed caused by defective wiring in the roof of the two year old structure.
