State cosmetology exams begin for Texas license seekers
More than 600 applicants will take the state cosmetology exams. Miss Ella Mae Murphy of the state board said tests start Tuesday at 8 am in the Stephen F. Austin Hotel with additional sessions on August 7 and 8 due to crowding. Negro beauticians test is set for Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 am at the Johnson and Randolph Beauty School. Results will be announced in about a week.
