The District of New Aurelia Consoli in Cherokee and Buena Vista counties Iowa filed its quarterly report for the quarter ended September 30 1948. It lists the Schoolhouse Fund balance 101558.46 and general fund receipts 6327.86 with total disbursements 18286.09 and a balance 31462.47. Affidavits by Secretary I M Paulson and notaries accompany the report alongside community notes on local deaths birthdays and social visits.
The F N club met at Mrs Cecil Sears home near Cherokee with social time, fancy work, and a brief business session led by Mrs Earl Crippen. Several members were absent due to the death of Mrs P N Peterson. A luncheon followed. Next meeting set for November at Mrs Harry Bennetons home.
