Mr and Mrs Will Hahn visited the Sawwell and Hahn home near Quimby on Monday evening. The F N club will meet June 16 at Mrs Roy Johnson's home with Mrs Axel Johnson assisting. Church services were held at the Smith home Sunday. Lincoln Hahn and Danny Bruce joined the Petersons near Cherokee for supper as Mrs Hahn celebrated a birthday. Mrs Orville Peckenschneider called at Quimby Wednesday. Bertil Peterson and children visited Sioux City Monday. Mrs Fred Parrott entered Sioux Valley hospital Sunday.

Miss Janice Meinking received a mis cellaneous shower hosted by Afton area ladies at the Community building last Wednesday. Lavender, yellow and green were the colors in decorations and luncheon trays. A second shower followed at the George Phipps home with the theme Key of Happiness and the bride’s colors repeated.
