Mrs. Wilson Perry and children visited in the Ben Spitz home in Cherokee. Ladies Aid met at Mrs. Karl Kahl’s near Holstein with good attendance. Mrs. B. H. Dubes to host next. Virgil Samuelson and son of Rockford Ill visited relatives and returned home with Lorne Simmons for a two week stay. Cliff Bruce Paul Stieneke and families honeymooned through the Black Hills and Yellowstone. Charles Barnard of Cherokee stopped by. Vacation Bible School begins at Mt. Olive for two weeks with teachers Miss Schlerites Spencer Miss Smith Forrest City and Miss Phyllis Dukes urging attendance. George Schafer and George Stoneking with daughter Miss Laura of Holstein area were visitors in Storm Lake.

Social gatherings include Good Hope Ladies Aid hosted by Mrs C A Simmons and S C club at the Simmons home with prize winners listed.
