A runaway named CJBSAR from Savannah river area is described as about twenty, five feet tall, white jacket and overalls, poor English. Crawford a recruit in the Light Artillery enlisted at Augusta by Captain Jos G Telfair is described as a Virginia born 30 year old Taylor five feet eight inches with fair complexion light eyes and yellow hair. A reward of thirty dollars is offered for his delivery to any U S army officer or jail within the United States jurisdiction by Captain Jos G Telfair November 19.
Notice seeks capture of Lank a well known enslaved man from James Lamar with ties to Augusta and Horse Creek. Levi Sheftal, state agent in Savannah, announces a call for contracts to supply troops in Georgia with rations from January 1809 to May 1810. Proposals must be submitted by month end with security details. daily ration includes beef or pork, bread or flour, rum or brandy, salt, vinegar, soap, and candles. Counties to publish notice and submit accounts for payment by November 20.
The subscriber informs the public that he lives near the Augusta market and has a secure place for preserving cattle and hogs. He will purchase on liberal terms or have them killed at the usual rate. ROBERT M'TYRE. November 19.
