July 3 1806 goods sale and lost pocket book notice
A mid 1800s advertisement lists July 3 sales items including stockings, hats, linens, bonnets, and tableware. It also reports a lost red Morocco pocket book found between Augusta and Wallion’s Sandbar containing a fifty dollar Branch Bank bill and other papers with rewards for return to the Chronicle Office or to D Driscol or Edmund Lamar of South Carolina. Additional notices request late Jacob Wefflands’s creditors to file accounts and announce a forthcoming land sale by Ezekiel Park’s estate with postponement to March next.
