Deed dispute in Greene County 1806 over Flenikin land

In Greene County Georgia in 1806 Samuel Flenikin granted land to David Flenikin for a tract of 230 acres at the fork of the Oconee and Apalatchee rivers. The original deed allegedly damaged, a copied deed was ordered established in its place and published for six months. Several witnesses and affidavits describe delivery, witnesses, and belief about the deed’s existence and dates.
