Fourteen half acre lots on the Academy hill at Columbia Court House to be rented to the highest bidder on January fourth for seven years. Notices announce auctions and year long leases of enslaved people and plantation assets belonging to the Glastock estate in Augusta. The sale includes a plantation house, outbuildings, two saw mills, and related lands at Rocky Creek and a Burke County saw mill, with a separate dwelling and lot on Ellis Street. Other notices request court permission to sell estates of Joseph Welch and Benjamin Rhodes, including a tract of land and a slave named Patt for heirs and creditors.
