Justiceroom Session Reports Assault and Foraging Misconduct
A private Frederic Rickler of Colonel Murty's company faces charges for assault and attempting to defraud a gin shop keeper after a foraging party looted cartridges. Rickler, aided by a comrade, was captured at the shop and surrendered after a ruse. Rickler was sent to prevost prison. a letter to his commanding officer was ordered. Also Irish West Indian Pat Duffy badly injured Darby M’Nevin in Chick-lane. M’Nevin forgives him if magistrate frees Duffy. Sheriff’s titles for later the office.
