Sheriff sale slated for the next Tuesday in Warren County at the courthouse. The notice specifies a sale date and the standard bidding window, with bidders to attend at the usual hours.
Nine months after the date hereof the Inferior Court of Burke County will hear an application to sell two tracts of land belonging to the estate of Stephen Royal deceased. One tract of about 150 acres lies in Burke County on Boggy Gut Creek, adjoining John Bett and others. The other tract of about 80 acres lies on the same creek, adjoining Bett and others. Proceeds for heirs and creditors.
The Senate and House authorize the President to remit penalties and forfeitures for violations of the 1798 act prohibiting slave importation. He may also release vessels and effects seized, under conditions of ensured lack of intent and alignment with owners, with further arrangements for exile transports to France and costs charged to France.
