Seventh Circuit creation replaces Kentucky Tennessee Ohio districts
The act repeals parts of prior law transferring district court powers to circuit courts. Kentucky Tennessee and Ohio are reorganized into the seventh circuit with two annual circuit sessions in each state and a central clerks system. Tennessee splits into East and West districts. Chief justice and associate justice appointments adjust Supreme Court composition and duties.
