Seventh Circuit Establishment and Jurisdiction Act of 1807
Congress enacts a plan to create circuit courts for Kentucky Tennessee and Ohio as the seventh circuit. The districts are defined and sessions scheduled at Frankfort Knoxville Nashville Chillicothe with assigned clerks and all district court powers transferred. A sixth associate justice will reside in the seventh circuit to serve the Supreme Court and circuit courts.
